Fred - sorely missed, Rest In Peace
~ 1999 to 13 May 2008 ~ |
FredTheCat is run by Pam
Clingan. Pam has a 2.1 Bachelor of
Laws Honours Degree and a Music Degree from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Pam has ridden, bred and been involved with Connemara ponies for nearly 40 years and is in her second year as a Junior Judge with the CPBS, Ireland. She trains, rides, shows and helps run Lanburn
Connemaras with her father, Connemara Judge, Bob Blackburn OBE.
Pam has loved photography since her 10th Birthday when she pestered for her own camera. She has received training from 4 professional photographers. In 1990 she was offered a 6 month attachment to the BBC Stills Department when she worked as a Studio Manager at Broadcasting House. This was made specifically for her based on the portfolio she presented, when one wasn't on offer.
Demand for her photographs has meant that Pam had to turn professional.
In 2006 Pam was a Runner-up in an Annabel Williams Competition. This was the first and only competition entered to date.
Many thanks to Jeannie Clark, Simon John, David Woodards and the many others who have offered inspiration, encouragement and support. |
